World's Largest Statue - Spring Temple Buddha in the People's Republic of China is currently the world's largest statue. It is a massive 153 m / 502 ft high overall. That's one and a half times higher than the Statue of Liberty in the USA, and almost half the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is said to weigh about 1000 tonnes. The hill on which the statue stands is being reshaped to form two further pedestals, which will bring the total height of the monument to 208 m.
